Default Hello, I’m new here...

Evening!
I grew up loving printing black and white but had to pack up my darkroom 20 yrs ago due to a house move and arrival of a new baby. Now we (said baby and I!) are working on setting up again in our old airing cupboard! (I read about the member with a whole shed with envy!).
I have a Durst M605 colour head enlarger (bought by my father, probably about 1981) that isn’t quite working yet. I came across your site while googling it and so hope to find some more info here.
Looking forward to lots of chats with fellow enthusiasts! Xxx

Hope you can get the Durst up and running soon . Anything we can help with, ask away!

Have fun, Bob.

Hello, I'm sure you'll find all the advice you need here. It's surprising how much you can achieve in a small space; I wonder if your airing cupboard is any smaller than my converted toilet - 3' x 5'

Welcome to FADU, RuthEd. Letting a new baby loose on a M605 might be risky so good job the baby is now about 20!

Bob in the other post has given a good explanation on replacing the bulb and I agree it is almost certainly the bulb.
