Hi RuthEd and welcome to Fadu, I remember setting up my first darkroom, it was a cuboard under the stairs, just enough room for a Gnome enlarger, a box of paper and 3 whole plate trays ( that dates me) if I remember correctly it was 25 sheets of Kodak Bromesko whole plate

I have a very early amateur 35mm Gnome enlarger, before that they seem to have been making quite high end enlargers perhaps originally for WWII military contracts. I bought my Gnome enlarger new around 1968 but it was new old stock that the shop found hidden away, they gave it me free on the condition I bought a lens from them Looks more like a motor cycle cylinder head than an an enlarger. Hi RuthEd and welcome, maybe someone local can help you get sorted out. Ian |
