Default Hello From Scotland

Hi Im David. I live midway between Glasgow and Edinburgh. I have had a darkroom before when I lived by myself in my flat but when I moved in with my wife and her kids I didn't have the room anymore. Now that one of the kids has got married and moved on I have a spare room and so again take it up. I had a Nikon f601 back than which I really liked but which I sold to go digital and have had 2 didgital compacts since. I recently sold my Panasonic compact and used the money to buy a camera and darkroom equipment on ebay. I have a Durst enlarger in the darkroom and a Olympus om10 and various lenses. I only recently set up the darkroom but I am hoping to get a lot done in the next few months.
I am looking forward to interacting in the forums and meeting other film and darkroom enthusiasts.

Welcome from Invercargill - note the Scottish influence. We even have local pipe bands.

Welcome David, and thanks for the comprehensive introduction. The OM10 is a good camera, and it gives you access to a vast range of quality lens; a good choice.

Hi David

My SLRs are OM1s. I started with an OM20 before switching to all manual.
The lenses from Olympus are biting sharp I use my 28mm all the time occasionally the 135mm f2.8 telephoto.
Look out for some great lenses at good prices and have fun.

Welcome

Andrew B

Hi David and Welcome.

I also occasionally use OM gear for 35 mm, great cameras and lenses.
