Hello from France
Hi everyone,
I registered a long time ago but have been a silent follower till now. I think it's past time I introduce myself I'm a french photographer based in the suburbs of Paris. I mainly do botanical shots in medium format, I use a Rolleiflex SL66 which I find ideally suited to this kind of job. In the darkroom I'm a sort of tinker who likes to mix raw chemicals and experiments with multi bath development. It's fun, unpredictable and sometimes leads to some nice prints Lately I've been playing with liquid emulsion on unglazed ceramic tiles. The results are promising but very difficult to wash. Thanks for introducing yourself Sebastien and welcome to FADU.
I feel Brett Weston took some of his finest botanical shots with the SL66. I think it gave him more freedom of composition over his LF cameras when dealing with the closer intimate stuff he did in latter years.
