Hi to all

I've been hovering around the forums (fora?) for a while - I thought it was time to make an appearance!

Some quick details : Eddie Butt, from Wishaw, Scotland. 56, Filmaholic (and not attempting to recover from the affliction).

Equipment : 35mm originally Olympus, then moved to Nikon F4s when they (Olympus) went a bit "funny" with their cameras. Hasselblad, with 50mm, 80mm, 150mm and 250mm lenses (and sore back when I've carried that lot any distance!). Ebony RSW54 was the latest acquisition - if we don't count the De Vere 504 after that for printing. There's a Nikon D200 somewhere, too - but I just can't get excited over that one.

Just finished moving my darkroom from the loft - hot, sweaty, humid and not funny transporting water and chemicals up and down a ladder - to the garage - purpose built 2 x 2.5 metres, insulated, heated (but still to get the running water in - didn't seem much point while it was minus 12degC recently...).

Once I've got enough postings, I'll add a picture or two of my Fortress of Darkitude. Might even share a picture of my home-made deep tank 5x4 sheet film processing unit - a thing of beauty (in my opinion).

I have a few more details on the UK Large Format Photography website for anyone who's interested. Looking forward to contributing here where I can.
