Unfortunately their not the cheapest about! I wouldn't buy film there.. But the convenience of being in town makes it worth the extra!

If I get good results from my brothers Nikon negative scanner I'll just get the Negatives processed, coincidently I went poundland in Welwyn yesterday, I asked if they had any 35mm film, they said no.

The second set looks fine. The Kodak ones remind me a little of some cheap Kodak VR film I got from Aldi once. It didn't look quite as grainy as your Kodak but was certainly way below the standard of other Kodak stuff and Fuji

If you can find cheap good film then fine but it's a bit of a lottery. I'd certainly stick to Fuji or one of the Kodak Portra range. As I have heard elsewhere, the film is actually the cheap part of photography when you take into account the other bits such as processing, printing, postage etc so no point in economising with film cost.

It may have been VR, these are the films that came with the camera.
