Hi robin I Have been buying fuji industrial X-ray film 100 nif ,I have been buying it in 100 sheets of 7x17 inches that I cut down to 5x4 large format and 3 1/4 inch by 5 inch to fit in the polaroid backs it is a bit of a waste of film ,but that size fits snugly in to the polaroid back ,and when I use the Hasselblad with a cut film back on I cut the X-ray film down to 2 1/2 x 2 1/2 inch I rate the film at 25asa outdoors and 18asa indoors with flash .I use the empty peel apart cassette to hold the film and fit it in to the polaroid back ,all can be done under red safety light and develope by inspection under the same red light ,its cheap fun I use the X-ray film in my 5x4 camera and polaroid backs ,and cut film holder . On a dull even lit day you can get a low contrast print like this ....

I don't know about Paul, but I bought mine a while ago now on ebay, from an American seller.

Just checking on ebay UK and ebay com, there are a number of sellers, just type in xray film. Below are two UK sellers and a US one to give you an idea of price, but even from the US, it only works out at about 40p to 50p a sheet of 10" x 8":

Have fun!

I got mine from eBay UK ,because I am used to using 80 and 100 industrial X-ray film I only buy that now, but its getting harder to find ,But I have enough to keep me going for a few years ,there is medical X-ray film that comes up time to time so you have to keep your eye on the ball (eBay) because that's the stuff they all want .Or if you don't mind buying from abroad as terry says there's a lot that comes up on America eBay.

Xray film is an important tool to my large format cameras.
Is it allowed to add one or two prints in your thread?

Best,
Reginald
