Default Lens cap for a Yashica Mat

Can anyone recommend a lens cap for the yashica mat. I have found several for 124s but not the early Mat that doesn't have the light meter. I know its Bay1 but are all Bay1 the same?

As far as I know all Bi fittings are the same, so any G1 cap should fit, For instance Ihad a B1 polished lens cap on my Microcord, and a cheap plastic lens cap on Rollei automat, so I swapped the Microcord lens cap to the Rolleiflex and put the plastic cassp on the Microcord, the polished cap looks great on the Rollei, and both fit perfectly, so I would look for a B1 cap, it should fit fine

I echo Richards statement that all the bayonet fittings are the same - However - the distance between the upper and lower lens centres can differ. I used to have a Rollieflex T with a Tessar and at the same time a Yashicamat and there was several MM's difference between the distance apart.

Genuine bayonet caps for a Yashica do appear for sale occasionally, but try to find one for a Minolta Autocord - absolutely unobtanium. Because of the rarity of virtual any make, you can expect to pay a serious premium

Do we know if a cap for a yashica mat 124 will fit an earlier yashica mat?

As far as I am aware - yes the body and lens pair are the same.
