The myth surrounding the woman may divide opinion but just looking at the images and there's absolutely no doubt in my mind about her ability.

A shame I can't visit.

I went to see the exhibition yesterday and would recommend it.

All the B&W photographs were terrific.

Not so sure about the colour work but the B&W was spot on.

I too am ambivalent about the myth/back-story, but the photographs are first rate.

Well worth a visit.

If you are unconvinced about the back story, I recommend you to read the biography by Ann Marks, "Vivian Maier Developed". There is no mystery, no hype, just a tragic individual with talent who never made it because of personal issues.

Sad that I can't reasonably justify the cross country trip to Milton Keynes. Wish it was central London.
