Default Wanted: Zeiss ikon 530/15

Hey guys and girls,

Hope everyone is well. Ive been trying to source a Zeiss ikon 530/15 folding camera so i can convert it to shoot 6x12.

It is seeming a hard task atm.

I anyone has one or knows where one is located do reply. I have been shooting 6x7 and everytime i look in the viewfinder or ground glass i wish it was 6x12.

happy shooting

There's a guy on the net who used the 520/15 D for his 6x12 conversion, which could be quite a bit cheaper.

The 530/15 uses 616 film, not 120.

Apparently, all kinds of adapters are available to 'convert/accommodate' between differing film formats.

Well, adapters - the problem with 616 film is that the film gate is too wide for a proper support of 120 film. And with the bellows closed there is no space at the lens side of the film gate. Of course that is not a problem if you want to convert the camera, which was my initial idea, too. Maybe I'll check the camera with sheet film cut to size and decide to keepi or give it away. It's been shelved for too long now.
