I normally whizz through ads, as I'm constantly trying to catch up with programmes that I like, of which I have recorded.

But I'll do the ads a bit slower and see if it pops up.

I presume you mean the one where a model stick figure is climbing all over the place.

If that is the one, the camera shop window bears a strong resemblance to the one in Pied Bull Yard. This is an enclosed yard with a thoroughfare off Museum Street just around the corner from the British Museum. Sorry I cannot remember the name.

I have been in there, |(if it is the same place) and it has an air of tranquillity of an old fashioned shop where you don't ask the price because if you do - you cannot afford it!

There are show cases with Leica's, Rollieflex's, Hasselblad's, you know all the cheap end stuff, not worth a 2nd glance.

A few years ago, there were 3 camera shops in Pied Bull Yard the one we are discussing, another who specialised in Nikon and canon and Jessops (the original) 'Classic' shop.

Update I have found it's name. It is called simply 'The Classic Shop'. Google the name 'The classic shop in Pied Bull Yard'.

No I don't think so. Aperture Photographic is closer to Googe Street Underground, This one is inside Pied Bull Yard which is an enclosed space/thoughfare directly over the road from the British Museum. I would think they are around 3/4 mile apart.

The classic camera, use to work there, rumor is they may be closing down soon, the owner has been doing this for a while now. Used to work under Alex Faulk (Mr Cad) then did his own thing now I think hes tired of it. Some really cool stuff comes through there. Sometimes you get a good deal on a ltm lens or a m2 but most of it is collector stuff.
