Default Expensive roll of film

Popped into Falmouth today for a couple of rolls of film and some paper. Mezmorised by the chemicals on the shelf I ended up spending £54.
I'm gonna need rehab at this rate.
right, i'm off to a darkened room to sniff some fixer.

Yes Dave certainly worth every penny. Small price to pay for the magical photographic process from loading the film to hanging the print.
I love it.

Nice that there is a store selling a big enough range of chemicals to cause you to spend £54

Associated photographic indeed, i'd be lost without it.
If they ever publish a mag with stock list I just hope they include a scratch and sniff section on the chemical page

Bargain. I understand that a full version of Photoshop can cost over ten times that. Then there's the computer etc, blah blah megapixel blah blah.

Default Smells

Fixer has nothing on the smell of a freshly opened film canister, really get the heart beating - I don't seem to get that with a CF card!

Ilford 120 roll-film's seem to have a unique smell of their own. Can't pin it down. I wonder if that's so you can find it when you drop it in the dark?
