Hello Willem

Welcome. I visited Haarlem some years ago and I recall it being a very attractive town. It was so cold then that people were skating on the canals.

Welcome from London currently. Bob is right, it is definitely chilly here, but all the snow is gone where I am which is a shame. Hopefully when I go back to wiltshire tomorrow it will decide to snow again so I can finally get out there with my camera, but I doubt it will, unlucky as I am.
Enjoy your time here!

Default Best wishes from a white Holland

Thank you for your warm welcome. Sorry to say that I am unable to translate my analog photos into digital ones for the FADU site myself..., but I share a internet site with Annemie Wolff (1907-1994), a Dutch professional photographer who became famous with her pictures of the Port of Amsterdam 1950-1965 and many other documentary subjects (a.o. Amsterdam Airport, KLM and Fokker aircraft 1935-1950), and my good friend Jaap Rijkenberg, who died recently. www.for-images.com This site has to be updated on short notice.
Thanks again,
Gargantua = WillemK

Some evocative images on your site , without photography there would be no record that things have changed so much within a persons lifetime !
