Default Just getting my feet under the table

Hello everyone,
My name is Chris, I live in Liverpool. I am mad about shooting film. I have a Mamiya 7 and a Sinar F1. I scan my negs at the moment, but have just acquired an enlarger. I just feel the need to make some proper prints. I have printed and learnt in the darkroom many years ago - at Liverpool printing college. I am a Lithographer for a living. I recognise Trevor Crone's name from B+W magazine. I admire your work. But its good to see so many people who feel the same way as me.

Cheers
Chris

Hi Chris and welcome to FADU.

Good to hear you have acquired an enlarger and are wanting to do some proper prints again.

Neil.

Thank you Chris and welcome to FADU. I do hope you will enjoy your darkroom sessions again. I know I'm biased but I still don't think you can beat a well crafted silver print

Hi and welcome, Chris. Nice pieces of equipment you have. They just deserve properly crafted prints.

Cheers, Marty.

I like hearing about people getting back into the darkroom - there's never been a better time, with prices for the equipment at an all time low. It's much more fun than looking at a scanner too !

I also use a Sinar F1

Good luck
