Default Introduction from a small Corner of Scotland

Hello All,

I found the forum a few weeks ago by accident.

I shoot mostly digital for work, but enjoy using Mamiya TLR to shoot film for "fun". Mostly environmental portraits of lcoal people.

Process Mono at home using equipment from a supplier found on this forum. Can't process colour though, can any one recommend a comemrcial processor? The two I have tried take weeks just to process and return film, and they cahrge the earht for it. I asked one why they took so long. The answer was they wait until the get enough 120 film into employ a retired gentleman to come in for one day a motnh and process it all.

Mono Film work can be see at Its a Square World

Chris

Hi Chris, thanks for the introduction. I haven't done any colour for years so cannot recommend directly from personal experience, however.

One of our newer members, joanphoto has an interest in http://www.wedevelopfilms.co.uk/

Also our sponsor AGPhotographic has an associated processing company called http://www.palmlabs.co.uk/

Hope that is of help.

Welcome to fadu Chris. These may be of interest...

I should add that I have no connection with these processors.

Hello Chris. I also use a Mamiya c330 and when I was doing colour (Portra nc) I used Peak Imaging (there's a link in Barry's post above). I would recommend them. Turnaround was good and prices weren't too bad. Enjoyed looking at your site - like the b&w work especially.
