Default Hello, I my name is Tomas Plocek...

Hello, my name is Tomas Plocek and I am writing to you from Brno, Moravia.
I am a keen amateur since my age of 13. I love shooting of still-life photograpsa, landscapes and architecture, sometimes I do shoots of people too(specially my friends fhotographers, if they are shooting - this is my favourite relaxation ).
I use certo 10X15, home made 6x9 camera, flexaret(6x6), zenit(35mm) and some pinhole cameras. I have never used digital camera, I do not use it and I shall use it never in future .
I have found FADU thank Mr Leo Stehlik(thanks, šnek ). I am really delighted at this web, I have read only small part of threads in FADU forum and it means very much new knoledges for me. I hope I can write here something useful too.

And excuse me for my poor English, I have endeavour to improve my communicability

Hello Thomas and welcome to FADU.

I enjoyed your introduction and it is interesting that you have made a 6x9 camera. It would be great to know how you achieved this and maybe see some images sometime.

Enjoy FADU and it is good to see you here.

Neil.

Hello Neil, I am obliged to confess that my 6x9 camera is home made, but it was made in home of an other man . It is very simple camera, a conversion of an old Agfa folding camera to a box camera(possibly not an ideal term but it is difficult to categorize it). It has a lightly wide-angle tessar 9cm/6,3 in compur shutter. Next week I can show some images of this camera and some ones what I have made with.

hello Tomas
welcome to this splendid group. Your English is better than many foreigners I know (like me), but most important you have something interesting to tell about your photography - do you enlarge the 6x9 photos and if yes with which enlarger? (I am looking for a 6x9 enlarger)
all the best, peter
