No music since April?

Current iPhone 'Darkroom Playlist':

Tom Waits - Rain Dogs
John Surman - Winter Wish - highly recommended if you like jazz
Robert Johnson - King of the Blues
Miles Davis - Ascenseur pour l'échafaud
Donald Fagen - Nightfly
Jan Garbarek - Twelve Moons
The Moody Blues - Days of Future Passed
Rickie Lee Jones - Rickie Lee Jones
Talking Heads - Greatest Hits
Van Morrison - Astral Weeks
Elton John - Captain Fantastic
Berlin Philharmonic - Part: Spiegel Im Speigel - Fratres

Push the shuffle button and (dodge) and burn baby!

"The man that hath no music in himself,
Nor is not mov'd with concord of sweet sounds,
Is fit for treasons, stratagems, and spoils."

Goodnight!

Some great choices there Tony.
My own darkroom music of choice at the moment is:

David Byrne & Brian Eno - Everything that happens will happen today
Billie Holiday & Lester Young - a musical romance
Introducing - Ruben Gonzalez
Orchestra Baobab - Pirates Choice

Vincent, I hadn't heard Orchestra Baobab before so just surfed over to YouTube and had a listen - great music! A review on the Guardian website also reveals that the cover for the album was shot by Malick Sidibe. I saw an exhibition of his studio portraits a couple of years ago which were superb. The 2nd one down of the girl is my favourite.

Dave, when in the right mood I like Classic FM although for me it can be a bit 'sugary' sometimes during the day - has that Simon Bates left?

cheers

Today - Radio 4 (I know ...) but when I used to work in a (very small) commercial photo lab - used to be Grateful Dead, Velvet Underground, Pink Floyd, Jefferson Aeroplane, Cream, Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Hendrix etc.

Now that used to be quite an experience in total darkness loading the films into the frames for the tanks! (and almost as strange when printing under safelight)
