Cameracraft magazine
This is a relatively new publication. It's a proper, printed, quarterly magazine available by subscription only. It carries no advertising so it is totally funded by subscriptions... That said it's only £20 a year in the UK or £37.50 for two years...
It isn't all about digital and it's not exclusively film, it is written with the understanding that the two methodologies are both photography but one doesn't replace the other anymore than photography replaced painting. The editor and publisher is David Kilpatrick, you might know him from the MPA magazine and those of us of a certain vintage will remember "Photo Technique" that he edited in the seventies. Anyway this section of the forum is where we shout out about our little triumphs. Yes? So, I put this in here to tell you that issue 5 of "Cameracraft" features me! I have an 8 page portfolio and a 4 page article on The Alchemist's Workshop, my gallery and workshop in the Lake District. Apart from "ME" it is a pretty good magazine and needs all the support we can give it in this age of diminishing editorial and increasing advertising. Here's the link, give it a try. http://www.iconpublications.com/cameracraft/

Saw this on your facebook page Steve and I recieved the past 4 magazines as well as No5. This is an excelent printed magazine and while it may appear expansive for a quarterly is great to have no advertising taking up 1/2 the mag and quality of the printed images is excellent

David Kilpatrick's PhotoPro was my favourite magazine and the only mag I've ever subscribed to. He seems to know what photography nuts want. With Steve's feature out of the way the new mag can only get better.
