Thanks for posting. I have seen his exhibitions in London and this one appears to be a bit different. Must try and go.

Thanks Paddy. Hopefully things coronavirus-wise will be a lot better by then so might risk a trip. We can see the in-laws as well

There are a few pictures from Don's exhibition on the site advertising it above, along with a short video showing more, but at too much speed to take any of them in.

But for people who live too far away to visit it in person, to actually see it all up close, but also because of the current virus situation, it would be good if there were more pictures from the exhibition for us to look at on screen. I know which way I would prefer, but sometimes something is better than nothing.

This is not a dig at this exhibition alone, but most exhibitions in general and I believe that if the above was done, it would encourage some people to make an extra effort to go to some see of them, that they might have put off visiting for what ever reason.

And also worth a look, is the following link, of a 'talk to camera' piece by the man himself, who comes across as being very humble, despite his notoriety in the photographic world:

I am under the impression that a lot of the photo,s will be from the Toxteth / Dingle area (L8) of Liverpool
Might make a day out of it by visiting both the Mcullin and Linda Mcartney exhibitions (the 2 Maccas)

I hope you have a good day if you do Paddy, and if so do report back.

I walked past a few days ago. The doorman said "You have to book a time slot, prior to rolling up". Can't just walk in off the street -- or dock in this case.
