Greetings from Boston, Massachusetts
Dear Forum Members:
First, thanks to those who helped me with some technical issues using this forum on my mobile. Now to the introduction...... I am a mid fifties guy who grew up learning to develop and print B&W from his father in the late 60's. In the late 70's, I was shooting as a serious amateur and developing and printing my work. I partnered with another friend and photographer and we eventually started video taping weddings when it was a new phenomenon. Life happened and I pick up again in 1992. Needing more secure employment, I enrolled in medical x-ray school. Securing my degree, getting married, etc, life further went on. I did learn to look at grey scales in a whole new way. Also, learning sensitometery and densitometry, was pivotal in understanding B&W film. Now, 20 years after graduating I work for the nation's premier children's hospital working in researching pediatric brain tumors. I am coming full circle, getting back into B&W photography. Anyways, thats enough of me, and thanks for having me. BostonDoug
