Default Whats hapenned to Retro Photographic ?

I used to trawl this site a fair bit for 'interesting' stuff. I used the Adox FP4 and Efke 25 from them as my main films at one point and they supply clear faced bags in sensible quantities , I like using these to store prints.
Looking again today it seems to be almost shut with a very limited range. I know that their service could be described as eccentric at times but they always put mistakes right (I did have one problem with 126 film but that was a one off) and did so with good grace and charm.
Its sad if they are going to be lost as a supplier.

From reading between the lines, the owner found it difficult to maintain service levels as he and his customers would have liked and he reduced his range to more manageable levels.

At the risk of being pushy () try some of our supporter's links at the top of the page instead: a couple of them are stocking the same sort of items that retro used to stock.

I've started using Ag since they're local I also like SDS (too much temptation on that site ) and have used Silverprint in the past. Is that enough

Cheers for the info - I know what you mean about Retro's service I always had this vision of dozens of bottles of chems and a lucky dip as to what went into what box . Nice people to deal with though so I hope they continue.
