Default Cameras, cameras, cameras!

Having just recived my Agfa from Exprs. which now has been checked and carefully cleaned. I'm now waiting for time and weather so I can use it.

Looking in my kit cupboard I have noticed a build up of cameras. It now acures to me, when am I going to find the time to use all these wonderful bit of kit. I suspect that others are in this position too.

Yes, I'm in the same position too. Although my photographic collection is undoubtedly smaller compared to other people's, I probably still have more cameras and lenses than I could find time to use if I'm being perfectly honest.

Strangely enough I am in the same position and I enjoy just looking and touching my camera kit, even if I cannot use it all at once or as often as I would like. I keep looking at my enlarger and thinking: "I should be using you, not just looking at you". How sad is that?

Me to. Have way more kit than I can actually use, but when you see an old camera destined for the great darkroom in the sky going cheap, what's a person to do ?

Think it's a bit of an addiction.

Does anybody else, get that knowing look from the other half, when you mention the word camera ? Or is that just me ?

Ian

I have the same problem, a large and growing collection, the latest being a Franka Solida IIr, which arrived just as the biggest fall of snow in one day that we have had in 50 years, but I got out today now it is just about gone and tried it, they all get used in time, and I wouldn't part with any one of them, I love them all and as far as the other half she just shrugs her shoulders when a new package arrives

I think I'm maybe lucky with the other half, as she has a passing interest in photography. I've noted that she waits for me to use a new camera first ( not that it happens very often, about once in a blue moon. It must be blue again) looks at the results to see how well the camera works and the style of picture. Then sneaks off to take some pic's of her own. In most cases on colour film.

On a personall note I do find myself stuck for choice as which one to use. I find when this happens I end up using my F5.

Yep.

Feels like an AA meeting!

Nice to know I'm not the only addict...

Were it not for the fact that we just enjoy owning and using all this gear and don't worry too much about the odd looks we get from time to time, an organization to help us addicts might be formed.
