Default A big pat on the back

Hi to all,

I would just like to thank all the "officials" for the running of this forum, and all the members for their input, generosity and kindness.

I am a relatively new returnee to this hobby after many years in the electronic wilderness. I have found the support offered to me by all on this forum second to none. This assistance has given me enough confidence to move into MF as well as 35mm, build my own darkroom (it's really a small darkshed !), develop my own B+W and C41 film (soon to try E6) and print my own B+W pictures.

Ok I'm not that good at the moment, my album has the only three prints that I have made that are anywhere near good enough to show someone else, and I've had my fair share of film failures when developing, but failure leads to success. I can only improve.

Long Live the Forum

Ian

Glad you've found FADU to be all the things you've said, Ian and as they also say "Rome wasn't built in a day" but you've made a great start.

Mike

I absolutely agree with Ian. This site is an oasis of true photographic skill in the delinquent desert of digital tomfoolery that has come to be known as photography these days.

I agree - it's a great resource. I'm afraid I don't contribute as much as I should but I do visit often and read the advice here.
