Default Rolleicord Flash

I am looking for advice about which flash to use with my Rolleicord Vb. I would like something on a bracket to the side of the camera. I have been using a small Boots flash on a folding bracket. It works, but is not very solid feeling. I also find that the sync plug is a loose fit in the Rollei socket. I have been looking at the Metz 45 series flash units and they look quite good. Does anyone know if they work well with this camera? I want to acheive a combination that I can use at parties, etc that wont fall apart when I sit it down.
