Flack I had never heard of this camera so what I am about to say does not help you but I did find quite a good YouTube video on it by Martin Henson

For anyone else who knows as little as me here's the link:

I had trouble finding a Mamiya Six when I was looking for a 6x6 rf folder. In the end, I came across a Seagull 203 at a price and in the condition, I just couldn't refuse.

Hopefully, you'll have more luck!

Shame you only want UK sellers, as there's 23 listed on eBay UK, but they are all in Japan.

And then just when I thought that I'd found one for you, it was for a handmade case for one. So, just in case you need one later, here is the link (and it does look lovely btw).:

Good luck with your search.

Hi Terry I have looked through all those on ebay, not sure you can trust them, some are over priced and marked as excellent/Mint, but when you read the info they have issues, like fungus or fog, I am not bothered if the leather does not look good as I could replace that myself.

And if it needs some repairs, I have a collection of folders and all were not working when I got them, but I have fixed them all and a few lenses even for my medium format gear.

I bought two Kodak Vest pocket camera's and made a good working one out of the two so not afraid of a bit of work.

Thats why I would like to track one down in UK, I have heard good and bad about the Japan sellers so not sure.

Well I but the bullet and ordered one from Japan, I contacted one of the sellers with 100% record and to be honest he could not have been more helpful, He even showed me the receipt for it when he had it CLA'd, so time will tell.
I also managed to knock him down some.

Well done !

I am sure a lot of us here, including me, have purchased much camera equipment from Japan over the years with no issues at all. The only thing I make a point of asking with a camera purchase, if it is not listed, is the condition of the llight seals. I have found that sometimes these are not mentioned specifically.

Enjoy your new purchase !

Neil.

Well put a test roll through my Mint Mamiya 6 Automat, and I have to say they are very good, the camera works on all settings , no light leaks and the film winds on spot on.
