Default Wanted: Hewes 120 mm Developing Reel.

I've been looking for a Hewes 120mm developing reel. They are pretty expensive for someone like me who is in retirement. I'll be happy to pay shipping to USA and a reasonable price for a used one. Let me know if you have one or know of one.

Much appreciated,
David

Sorry, Aidan, I'm hanging onto my 120 spirals, but offering a warning.
Spirals have been manufactured by Hewes (UK), Kindermann (Germany) and Nikor (USA), all equally indestructible. There may be others.
The warning is not to mix the brands because there is no agreement on the orientation of the sprung clip that retains the film at the centre, which is infuriating when you are fiddling in the dark.
The electropolishing of the Hewes metal is the best, so once you have centred the 120 film, it simply flows in without catching on rough spots.

Thanks Ian,
You can see a image of the Hewes 120mm reel here:

http://store.khbphotografix.com/Hewe...Film-Used.html

Use the zoom to see the small gauge wire of the film holder tap wrapped several times on the small bar parallel to the sprocket.
Thanks,
David
