I'm getting to the same problem, I blame Covid, everything that I would normally photograph during this year has been off, and the next few months don't look much better, I would normally go the Battle of Jersey celebrations, not on, Wassialing off, and there are only so many ways you can photograph the coast or the landscapes in a small Island, so I find I am looking for rubbish, Nice dog, and nice print, mabe next summer will be better the vacine is here

Great shot of the dog, Paul. Is this was indoors at this time of year the light looks great.

As a camera geek I need to ask what camera, film and shutter speed

At the end of all of this, dogs are going to say : Covid what covid? They only need food, water, exercise and a warm bed so are basically unaffected by our troubles

Lucky devils

Mike

Thanks Paul I just looked again and as you mentioned it the cotton thread is now clear as a bell In fact the detail on its face is out of this world

That is quite a lens

its The 120 macro MF F4 lens , made for the autofocus cameras no aperture ring all electronic contacts ,I do believe that it is a copy of the old mamiya 120 macro lens that has a aperture ring on it .

Default Expedition

I have not been out on a photographic expedition since last September when I was able to snatch a couple of full days in north west Scotland.

BUT the forecast is good tomorrow with sun from 9am right through to 3pm. Nice and low, just as I like it, with plenty of long shadows and hopefully a lack of mist. I am driving down to North Shields, park up near the quayside and walking the 2 miles along the various paths then up onto the headland at Tynemouth.

I will take a few sandwiches and a flask, so I won't have to depend on finding anywhere open for a takeaway.
