Just for clarity, is it a complete head that your after, in which case you may need to invest in a 'new' enlarger as I've never seen a head for sale on its own. Or is it just a multigrade module which will fit your existing enlarger?

Clive, there is one enlarger on ebay UK at the moment, that comes with BOTH the colour head and the multigrade head that you are looking for.

If it is just the head you want, you could always ask if they will split it from the main sale:

You've probably seen this one as well. You may just need to wait a while until something comes up. I'll keep an eye open.

Thanks Marty, I have sent a message to the first one and am now awaiting a reply. The other one ,I have not bothered, it seems rather expensive, what do you think ? Clive.

It looks a bit steep just for the Vario-contrast module compared to the price of complete V35's. And definitely compared against the prices for the colour modules. So it will be a waiting game, I think. There are 5 V35's for sale over here at the moment there is only 1 with the Vario-contrast module and it's the most expensive at €450.

Hi Terry, I tried parkersphoto, they didn't want to know, only wanted to sell the whole lot. When, in a couple of months, they still haven't sold it , I will try again. Until then I will keep looking until I find one at a reasonable price. Just wondering what a reasonable price should be.

Hi, and happy new year.
Is buying a Multicontrast head for my leitz V35 any advantage over the colour head that I have at the moment ? Also, would selling my colour head to supplement the purchase of a multi contrast head any disadvantage , I do not intend to ever do any colour printing.
Thanks for your opinions in advance.
Clive.
