This is a great idea Rob and I am sure it will go well. Sadly, I shall have to give it a miss because of a current medical item that is restricting my 'being away' activities.

Neil.

What a shame, Neil.

As ever, you will be sadly missed.

I'm away to Shropshire for those dates, but hope everyone attending has an enjoyable time.

Hi guys

Are we all settled on the 7th/8th/9th June ?

If so, I'll book the Premier Inn.

Thanks

They even ‘clean up’ bronze age boats in your part of the country, don’t they?

Sadly it's not unknown. A few years ago they dug out an almost perfectly preserved early medieval oak quayside and burnt it. Locals told them what it was but the contractors clearing the site for housing blatantly said they needed to get rid of it before the County Council archaeologist found out and stopped the work! Sadly I never got to photograph it. The same contractors 'accidentally' bulldozed an area set aside as a future nature reserve.

Is this date firm? I would be happy to book if we agree the dates.
