And received on Saturday and then discovered that this Website had gone down when I first wanted to acknowledge its receipt. I eventually heard this morning it wasn't just me that was affected.
Anyway, it is a print of an abandoned corner of a canal, guarded by some extensive fencing. It is of particular interest for two reasons.

a) Derek said in his covering note he had difficulty in finding the 'grim urban landscape' he was looking for, particularly in an area that has received the attention of the burgeoning heredity industry; in this case the Potteries.

b) The lengths the authorities will go to prevent anyone accessing such areas so beloved by photographers.
Thanks, Mike

Your print was waiting on me when I got home this evening, Terry. I am very pleased with it. The print is an image of an ornate lamp standard, silhouetted against sea and sky. It is printed on Art 300 paper which suits this image very well. I am also a Bronica 6x6 fan, and enjoy taking mine out and about. They are very nice cameras to use.
Thanks very much for the print. I hope you can display it in the Gallery.
Alex.

Alex.
Many thanks for the comments Alex. I was pleased the way it came out as well, and definitely looks better on Art300 paper compared to RC Pearl!

I can see me using this lovely FB paper a bit more than I have so far. Having dwindling supplies of RC papers, I think my next purchase might be an FB paper or two to try out, as all of the ones that I've done recently and received from others on FB definitely have a better look to them somehow. Well worth the extra care and washing time I think.

And yes I must put it (and hopefully a number of previous rounds prints) in the gallery, as I've been a bit lax with that of late, for no reason I can think of.

….and received this afternoon Alex. A fine well balanced evening shot taken in Glasgow. The lighting and composition are excellent and I agree with you about the light reflection on the wet cobbles. Thank you.

Derek
