I'm a big fan of tmax and in general prefer it to delta. I still have a lot to use so when that's gone I'll just have to see what kind of price hike has been put on their products.
As a side note, I can't imagine that ilford and the likes won't follow suit?

I'd love to keep using Kodak B&W films, but the price in the UK is just extortionate when compared with the Ilford offerings.
The difference between FP4 and TMax100 is not enough (or at least, i don't see it) to make me want to pay extra. I just did a quick A****n check, FP4 (25sh) £37, TMax100 (50sh) £107, so that's a difference of £33 for 50 sheets. Sadly, my cynicism means that i don't believe the extra cost of Kodak film means that they will reinvest in film production......just that their shareholders will get a bigger dividend at the end of the year. Quite likely the right guess. Here again a guy, who always invested everything in investments. One can't post this often aneough, though I guess that most amateurs won't ever understand the economic side of our hobby. Let's say that it is difficult to face the truth stated here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z4-WLDm-e8A In my point of view it is sort of a miracle that analogue photography survived. It is still very fragile. In the video the owner of Adox asks the fellow community to accept an increase in film prices of about 30%, just to enable the companies to invest in new machines and young skilled workers. Frank |

Fuji brought back Acros, now version 2. Never used the first version, but many people say that it is the best film for B/W. At least concerning sharpness and reciprocy correction (only after 2 minutes). I like much more classical grain like FP4+. Any colour film would really come as a surprise. Guess no reversal as they still have Velvia & Provia. Though possibly one with 400 ISO.

Reala would be a real treat to enjoy again.
