I strongly suspect he may be a speech writer for a U.S. presidential candidate. It may seem like a lot of money but he is giving free postage.

It expired 6 years ago. If he were to take it off the market but attempt a re-sale in another 6 years will it be worth twice as much at £1000?

An absolute delight for Lubitel using Lomographers.

Don't know about the best film ever made, at that price it must be the most expensive, As John said, what a plonker

The seller has sold 652 items but a 99.4% rating by e-bay standards is not that good.

Anyone know what his range of goods are? If this is the only photographic item and you only buy such items on the bay then it may not be a problem

However it leaves the question: Is he the best comedian since Les Dawson and to be applauded for his outrageousness or just someone to be pitied for being totally deluded or completely shunned on all items, even those more appropriately priced because his approach may reflect a side as a seller that raises more serious concerns?

Is there a link between this sale and the slightly overpriced Ilford Monochrome Practice books mentioned here? There are certainly parallels

Agreed. Are we entering an age of overvalued photo-memorabilia? If so, my retirement income is secure...

Who knows? It would be nice but I fear not. I am more confident that we may however be entering an age which entails going to a hot place in a conveyance you have to push.

The next meeting of the "grumpy old gits" club will be on.....

Well done, Edmund. This is unbelievable stuff. Never mind being wary of this guy we need to find out who sold the film to him for £600.

Reminds me of the scene in the Magnificent Seven where the villagers are looking for tough guys to save them from the bandits. One sees a scary guy with scars and wants to enlist him but the wiser one says that they need to enlist the guy who gave him the scars
