Default Wanted: Transformer for Durst M605 colour

I'm looking for a Durst TRA 305n transformer, if you know of anyone for sale please let me know.

If it is a 12v 100watt unit the larger of THIS may do as discussed in an earlier thread..

A quick Google confirms the TRA305 is 12v 100W so it almost certainly will, and it's a lot cheaper and smaller and lighter!

Fintan,

Might be worth checking with Paddy Barker. He offered me his lead which fits from the M605 into the transformer if I wasn't able to get one from Terry at www.northernphoto.co.uk

Seeing as he was offering the lead, it might mean that he's willing to let go off the transformer. Might be worth a shot...

Then again if the Maplins transformer works, it'll sure be alot lighter than the TRA 305n

They are a lot lighter due to the fact that they are electronic so don't need the great lump of iron and copper that the old type had.

There is a durst transformer on that auction site at the moment,ET305N at £25 buy it now.
