Sorry to hear this, and I'm sorry you had so much trouble with the venue Dave what a nightmare.

Could we get a slot for the Exhibition early next year and just re-schedule the whole thing to happen in the new year?

With your permission I will continue with the production of our year book FADU 2010 as suggested by several of you. Although it will obviously no longer be a record of our exhibition it will form a valuable record of this year’s work. If any of you would rather that I didn’t feature your work in this way then please let me know and I will return your prints immediately together with a full refund of all money that you have paid.

I will return the remaining prints once I have scanned them except for those belonging to the six Friends whose work is yet to be selected for displaying at Silverprint during October. Their prints will be returned during November.

Sorry I haven’t been able to offer better news.
Hopefully, things will go much smoother next year with perhaps a different venue and better organised staff there. No need to apologies for their errors Dave.

Sorry to hear about that Dave, after all the time and hard work that you put into the exhibition so far. I was really looking forward to meeting the group again, but of course we'll still have next year it you can face into it again. I'm glad that you are going ahead with the yearbook and the mini exhibition.
Thanks for everything.

No worries at all, Dave. As we say in Baseball here in the states, "There is always next year!" I look forward to seeing everyone's work in the yearbook.

Cheers! Mark

Hi Barry,
I've just cancelled my hotel booking and I thought I heard a sigh of relief in the background and a mutter "I hope thats the last of them". I felt obliged to add as a parting shot that I might be back .
