Many Thanks
Hi folks,
many thanks for all your enthusiastic and valuable replies. When I was a young boy I basically unscrewed anything which had screws but when all the springs of my Timex watch flew around in my room I decided to leave those repairs to someone who knows (needless to mention that the Timex ended up in the bin). I have now sent the lens to Black on White. This way there is even a guarantee when it goes wrong. Looking forward to getting it back and using it on my new 4x5 camera. Best wishes Stephane |

A bit late for the OP, but maybe this is of someone else interest - Marc Nicolas repairs very efficiently shutters. He is in Bordeaux, France. He has restored my Synchro-Compur and my Compur and they work like a clock now.
