And arrived. A print of the sand patterns on a seashore on Ireland's West Coast. Interesting and subtle print that takes a lot of looking at to fully appreciate. A worthy addition to my growing collection.

I stayed at the Callanish Stones in 2015 for 2 weeks followed by another 2 weeks in Portree on Skye. Had a fab time and lots of picture taking with my then new to me Hasselblad 501CM.

Hi Marty.
Thanks you for posting this. A friend of mine went across to Scarp recently and says the houses there are now falling into real disrepair. Also, few years back if you were to be standing on that slipway you could watch Gannets just raining down into the sea after fish. Now, very it's a very rare sight.
Going to Huishinish when the sun comes out is glorious- the beach is very gently shelving, so the water is every shade of green and aquamarine you can imagine. Great place to swim. As the road sits quite high on the hillside as you approach you look down into that big horse-shoe bay, and a couple of times I've seen basking sharks close in to shore. If I didn't have to work (and so travel) it would be a wonderful spot to live.
