Default Buying mat board (?) in the UK

I've been looking online for 16x20 mat board, but all I can find is sellers in the US. Is this stuff sold under a different name in the UK? Where do folks that mount their prints actually buy things like mat board and mounting tissue?

It's referred to as mount board in some art shops. I noticed last night that Firstcall Photo have dry mounting tissue in their catalogue.

Firstcall stock there own brand mounting bord in packs of 10,most craft shops should stock boards, I buy mine at a local craft shop, it is large size and I need to cut it down, which is not a problem, also, Firstcall sell mounting tissue and most, if not all, that you should need for mounting, http://www.firstcall-photographic.co.uk

if you dont need large quantities, pop into your local picture framers, they should have a selection and will cut it to size for you, may even sell you some tissue

Many places sell mount board, or you can go for somewhere like Lion. https://www.lionpic.co.uk/mountboard-boards/

Thanks for all the replies, that's definitely going to sort me out! :-) I have no idea how I managed to not see all the mounting supplies that firstcall have in stock, I quite recently browsed most of the sections on their page.

Yes, I buy the odd matt board from The Range as they have a store close by but it's not cheap. They are excellent for frames, I've bought quite a few in the past 5 years and will be buying a lot more.

I've used Lion Picture Framing since the mid 1980's as they were a few minutes walk from where I worked and still quite a small concern.

There's plenty of framing suppliers selling to the small framing shops, I've used another in Birmingham and also have one locally less than a mile from my home who's slightly cheaper than Lion for the same products and saves me a trip to Birmingham.

Try yell.com and see if there's a local supplier near you. I thought Lion had a London shop but can't see anything online so maybe they closed it.

I believe the originator of this topic lives in Germany so UK addresses may not be exactly what he requires.
