Default Cheap Waterproof for your Camera

I used to have a polythene camera cover, but it didn't last very long so I came up with an alternative.
If you have an old Kagool or thin raincoat cut the sleeve off.
The elastic fits around your lens nicely and your camera is snug and dry inside the sleeve.
I have now had a hard wearing waterproof camera cover in my bag for about 4 years and it's well used but still looks like new.

Default Good idea

I like that -have been looking at some of the weather proof covers for cameras but the cost and lack of it fitting the Mamiya does put me off

Got an old one in the garage what is ripped (use it for work on car/garden etc but past it now)

Off to make one as have been told to tidy garage !
