Battery holders, Guy Fawkes night, UK.
Guy Fawkes night in the Uk today.
If you are out and about tomorrow, look around for the firework rocket launching tubes. Usually pinky brown plastic, various diameters. They are usually left behind as no one has a use for them. I collected a few of various diameters a couple of years ago. When cut to suitable sizes they make nice tubes to stack a few button batteries in your camera to replace the no longer available battery sizes. If you have access to a lathe you can also turn brass rod to make nice end contacts. Cheers.
