I have some bad news I have just finished processing and printing one of the negatives from the RPX 400 and they are wonderful. The grain is smaller than that I get from Foma 100 developed in Rodinal/RO9. I processed the RPX in HC110 because there was a question about the grain size. I printed part of the negative on 8x10 paper but enlarged it to 20x30 with no sign of grain. For a film that I had no thoughts about I am staggered by the quality.

I don't know why, but I've only just realised that I have used RPX 400 in 35mm, on and off over the last few years - that is presuming that I have the same film...

For on the canister that I am looking at, it has 'RPX 400' on it, but has 'MACO PHOTO PRODUCTS' on it, with no mention of Rollei...?

So before I go any further, is this the same film being talked about?

Terry S

PS I have just googled the film, and under the picture setting, both of what I have (Maco), as well as pictures of films with the word Rollei on them (in LARGE letters) come up.

So thinking about it, I'm now even more unsure if they are the same film, but in different packaging???

It's just a bit odd for two films to have the same name on them?

I have looked on my box of RPX and it has the Maco address on it. So it could be one and the same.
