Default Blackheath Group

As an enthusiast in traditional film photography since the 70's, I would like to propose the formation of a local club in the Blackheath area of SE London that would involve regular meetings and the possibility of future darkroom facilities.
Anyone with interest, advice or suggestions, please make contact.
Thanks

If part of your suggestion is that you would like to meet people to share darkroom facilities you could take another route:

The Camera Club still have darkrooms available to members and they are only at Kennington and pretty cheap (http://thecameraclub.co.uk/facilities/darkrooms/)

or there is The Gate at New Cross (https://thegatedarkroom.wordpress.com/about/)

Bests,

David.

Thanks for your suggestion but was hoping to create interest in the formation of a local group.

I was sure that your intention was to gather some like-minded people together and rather hoped that you would have had more responses - after all, there must be a lot of people here on FADU that are not so far from Blackheath. My suggestions were only along the lines of available darkroom facilities and - perhaps? - there you could meet like-minded people.

Anyway, best of luck trying to get some positive responses.

Bests,

David.

The founding Members for the East Midlands Monochrome Group were brought together by a small advert in the Amateur Photographer. You could try that or the Advanced Photographer, I'm sure their editors will be delighted to help kick start your idea.

There is quite a few people in the Devon/Cornwall area on FADU. I'd be up for a meet up somewhere convenient now and again.
