Zone map for film testing
Have just tested some film and developer to determine speed and development times. I used a board on which I had glued three prints made with a computer spreadsheet. Here it is:
The three sheets represent zones II+III, zone V and zones VII+VIII. This is by no means scientific but it helped me to find the speed (s) and development times to get N-1, N, N+1 and N+2 processing. I also attach the three sheets in pdf zonemap.pdf Peter |

I would like to echo photomi7ch's thanks. I made a simlar thing printing strips under the enlarger some time ago but this looks much more sophisticated and better. I might have problems printing it as my printer is only b&w and 17 years old. However, I am sure that I can persuade a a fellow club member that is into digital printing to print me off a copy!
Thanks, Mike |
