Hi Bill,

Thanks for asking but sadly not yet

There have been some family issues which are taking up my time and trying to get builders here to finish what they have started have delayed it yet again. I hope to have some good news soon.

Trying to get builders to finish what they have started? You mean they don't? Whatever next? Mind you if they all start to behave themselves then Dominic Littlewood and the Watchdog team get added to George's unemployment figures

You have my sympathy

Mike

If you intend to fit workbenches to the walls which you are dry lining and have not got to the stage where it is completed, can I suggest that you screw wood strips approx 1" thick to the back of the dry lining because it makes a far more substantial anchor than expansion fixings. If you use treated timber (It is hidden so wont be a problem) you can forget about any form of rot or insect attack

Thanks John, all of my fixings so far are through the dry lining and into the concrete block wall behind. These are very sound.
