It will be great to see some fellow FADUist on the 28th. Please do make yourselves known so that we can put names to faces.

I intend to bring along three view cameras, 6x9cm, 4x5 and 8x10 to discus pros and cons. I would like to make it my mission in life to try and convert folk to view camera use

If you are coming then please don't forget to bring work along for discussion for the second half of the workshop.

Great idea to make a day/weekend of it to get in some photography, particularly if you are travelling any distance.

Trevor was in today to record an audio interview to tie in with this - we're planning to have it downloadable from the Silverprint site, maybe as early as tomorrow (4/11).

It was interesting to see how a reasonably long interview (17 minutes) compressed down to a relatively small MP3 file size, presumably because speech has much less information content than music.

Hopefully there will be enough interest to embark on a regular series, maybe mixing photographers & printers with some industry figures.

That's a good idea, I look forward to tuning in.

I didn't mean Trevor's words have less useful content than Barry Manilow's finest, I think the correct buzzword is bandwidth.
