Default Northumberland - Hepburn Crag

Wondered if any of you has visited the edge of Hepburn Crag, through the iron-age settlement for the huge views north/west/south? It's one of my favourite resting places and much better than the nearby high-ground of Ros Castle.

Easier to access the crag from the road rather than climb from the car-park.

I was at Roughtin Linn on Saturday again, shot some d****** but guess what, even with a top-end Nikon lens the results not a patch on Mamiya7II on Ilford FBWT. If you're going to Roughtin Linn you may as well see other sites nearby - Weetwood Moor, DoD Law, Ketley Cave Shelter, some good (not too strenous) walking around Yeavering Bell, Humbelton Hill, College Valley too - accomodation plentiful in Wooler.

Going now as I sound like a tour guide - just full of enthusiasm after the weekend!
