Greetings
First Thread,here goes
I returned to analogue photography a few years ago after picking up a Canon F1 for just a few pound,a camera I use to drool over as a young man,a Pentax K100 purchased in 1978 tax free from '' The Summit House NAFFI'' Berlin during my military service. At moment I develop all my own black and white films,120 and 35 mm which I scan and send over to AG for printing. Any color film that is prepossessed by AG,I don't shoot much color I'm looking at setting up a small minimalist dark room to develop and print, space is a problem in my home so hopefully I can pick up some Ideas from the forum Thanks in Advance for any advice. Hi Tim and welcome to Fadu you can set up a darkroom in a very small space, one of my first darkrooms, when I first started to many years ago now, was in a small cubord under the stairs, tiny, to small to swing a cat, but it was all mine and was big enough to print in

Welcome Tim. I hope that you get some good ideas here. Space is usually the bane of any prospective darkroom worker's life but for some of the smaller enlargers not a lot is needed. That plus enough for a Nova slot processor and a tray of water to store prints after processing id really all that is needed. Main washing with running water can be done elsewhere and is very quick, especially with RC prints - 2 mins per sheet can be enough.

Hello Tim and welcome to Fadu. I never minded small so much, just as long as I didn't have to set-up and take-down after every session!
Best of luck with the darkroom.
