Default Hello from Poole, Dorset

Life seems to go in circles and a new grand-child has seen the house fill with child related items again. Same in photography, a late adopter of digital SLR's (skinflint rather than any dislike of the medium) and now feeling the need to return to film. With a Yashica Mat 124G I intend to develop my own and scan in the negatives. So the house should also return to the familiar odour of chemical processes in the near future.

I've noticed a simple but very logical new product, or new presentation of an old product (Rodinal) but it looks interesting in Firstcalls film dev/stop/fixer in packs which can be crushed down as the chemical is used so slowing them going off once opened. Anyone got experience with the product? Seems well priced too.

Hello Andy and welcome to the forum - always good to hear from those returning to the fold.

Welcome Andy. The Rodinal containers look interesting but since Rodinal seems to be unaffected by oxidisation I'm not convinced of the benefit in this case. Seems like good value though.

Hi Andy and welcome to FADU I have a Yashica Mat 124G as well but I haven't used it in years but every time I see someone writing about one I resolve to get using it again.
