Default Rollei IR400 exposures ( 35mm)

Hi
I have been using Efke 820 IR film (35mm) this year with much improvement, after guidance from FADU members. I have used roughly the following exposure guide : Full Sun F16 1/2 secs Part shade F16 4/5 secs or darker than this F11 2/3 secs. With a R72 filter

What I would like to know is , will this exposure guide be suitable for Rollei IR 400 also with a R72 filter

cheers

Going by the long gone but lamented Kodak HS IR I used to rate it at 400 in summer and reduce this to 100 in winter, then adjust for whatever filter factor was appropriate. If I was using a normal red filter I used to let the meter take care of the exposure but always bracketed. A bit expensive but I always got something decent. I have an opaque Cokin IR filter but I have never had the opportunity to use it yet but I understand a factor of around 8 to 12 is appropriate depending on the day.

I have used this film in 120 format and get good results at 4.5asa using a Cokin R72 filter, and developing in ID11 stock soultion for 6m @20C. Excellent detail and contrast
Hope this helps

I have also rated it at 4.5 ASA with good results. I use a Gossen meter and generally take incident readings. I use the Hoya R72 or Cokin 007. They seem to be similar.

I have used just one 35mm roll of this film, which I mostly rated at ISO3 with a Hoya IR72 filter, ie extra 7 stops for the filter factor.

There are examples of the results here:

I have some 120 rolls waiting to be used, just waiting for the right conditions ...
