Default Nikon F3

Does anyone have a manual for an F3? My son was turning out a firm's old office and one 'came to light'. I have had an F5 but this camera is nothing like an F5.

Paul,

It looks like a useful camera to own - this should help:

The full and original manual can probably be found at the Butkus site if you want more than Ken Rockwell gives you. Butkus asks for a voluntary donation to download which is reasonable.

One thing to know is that the shutter speed stays at 1/80 until the frame counter reaches frame 1. Also, aperture priority auto doesn't work with mirror locked up. Everything else should be straightforward.

Thanks guys, I am sure I can work it out from the leads you have given. The camera is fitted with a 35 -70mm lens made by DENOX. I have never come across this make before. Is it likely to be any good?

Thanks Big Paul, I am just waiting for some batteries to arrive via tinternet and I shall give it a spin. I agree that the camera is nicely weighted and balanced. Looking forward to using it. I'll get back to you if I run in to problems.
Regards,
Paul
