Sorry all. I won't now be able to make Saturday or Sunday. We have been waiting for a plumber, electrician and tiler to do our bathroom and toilet and as luck would have it all 3 had a window starting Wednesday this week but need to work on Saturday to have any chance of completion before their next job is scheduled. Recession or no recession these guys are scarcer than hen's teeth in my part of S Northants and turning them down is not an option.
Should make the exhibition at some time however. Have a good weekend and a great get-together Mike |

I'm up at 6:30 for you lot!*
I'm seriously going to need that coffee afterwards. (*Actually probably didn't need to get up this early but didn't feel like going back to sleep for 30 minutes) |

It was good to meet everyone today. Thank you for your superb organisation and all the hard work the has gone into getting the prints on the wall - the exhibition looks fantastic. Thanks again from both of us for the warm welcome Andrew & Anne |

I would like to say thank you to all those that came to view our exhibition last Saturday morning, your support made the whole venture worthwhile. I must admit to being a little surprised at the considerable number of you that did make the journey; some of very considerable distance. It’s always nice to be able to renew acquaintances at this sort of event, as well as make new ones.
I can see that we shall need to consider a larger gallery for next year. |

Having realised that there is in fact a front and rear cover to a book (Doh!), and that we could therefore use a picture on each, suggestions were sort from the assembly and discussed. Voting was very close with Sandeha delightful portrait of “Eddie Rockstar” finally winning, by but a single vote, the front cover position. Further discussion and another couple of rounds of equally close voting finally awarded the back cover spot to Mark Snowdon’s Lith print of Fountains Abbey.

Certainly a surprise, but a delightful thought that a creative five year-old might be the face of this first year. Thanks.
